This edition starts with news on the 5-day blended train-the-trainers course in Korinthos, Greece, engaging 15 teachers from 6 consortium organisations to get prepared to use the project’s approach and resources! You can access the content, pictures and main results from this blended training, a kick-off activity to prepare the pilot implementation of the project in the countries of the consortium.

It follows news on the 4th transnational meeting held in Ljubljana, dedicated to:

  • Discuss and plan the pilot testing to be done in the 3 countries, from the recruitment of schools, training and preparation of teachers, monitoring of the implementation and promotion of round tables
  • Exchange ideas on the focus, timeline and strategies to engage stakeholders in the national thematic and networking workshops, defining relevant topics to be addressed
  • Revision of the strategy to continuously enlarge the members of the XREducation network
  • Strategies fostering the long-term sustainability and potential of exploitation of the project’s resources

A focus on the national training of teachers to get them prepared for the pilot implementation is also provided in this newsletter, clearly identifying the regions and number of teachers involved in this training in each country.

The newsletter closes with news on the VR-based resources developed by the consortium, freely accessible to all schools and teachers interested in testing the VR4Empathy approach and reources in their settings.
