The 2nd newsletter of VR4Empathy highlights key project milestones, including the development of VR scripts by teachers, the upcoming VR film production, and the creation of the XR4Education Network. It also features a spotlight on project partners and their contributions to education!

The latest edition of the VR4Empathy newsletter is here, packed with exciting updates and developments from the project!
This edition covers a range of significant achievements, including the involvement of teachers from Portugal, Greece, and Slovenia in designing VR scripts aimed at enhancing students’ cognitive empathy. These VR-based lesson plans, created with support from Khora, are set to be seamlessly integrated into classrooms across Europe.
The newsletter also highlights the recent transnational project meeting in Athens, where consortium partners discussed key progress on lesson plans, VR video scripts, and the upcoming ‘Train the Trainers’ programme. Additionally, it marks the beginning of VR film production, with Khora’s team capturing powerful stories across Greece, Portugal, and Slovenia to help students connect deeply with historical events, such as World War II and refugee experiences.
Further, the newsletter introduces the XR4Education Network, an exciting initiative to promote immersive learning experiences that foster not only academic growth but also important social and emotional skills like empathy.
Lastly, the partner spotlight section takes a closer look at the Ministries partners—DGE, IEP, and MoE—who are instrumental in ensuring the project’s success, especially in areas like quality assurance, curriculum development, and teacher training.
