Between November 2024 and February 2025, three co-design sessions in Slovenia involved 43 teachers, resulting in 8 new scripts!
The VR4Empathy project’s co-design sessions in Slovenia saw 43 teachers from diverse subject areas, including history, geography, science, and languages, come together to develop 8 unique scripts. These sessions, held across Ljubljana and other regions, provided teachers with the chance to actively shape the content, ensuring that the final materials would be both educationally relevant and deeply connected to the issues that matter most in today’s world.

During these workshops, teachers collaborated on creating immersive VR scenarios centred around key themes such as sustainability, migration, and digital literacy. The result was a set of scripts that will now be used to develop VR-based videos aimed at engaging students, fostering empathy, and promoting critical thinking about these important global topics.
This co-design process highlights the value of teachers’ contributions to creating meaningful and effective learning resources.
With the scripts now in place, the next step will be to produce the VR videos, which will be used in classrooms across Europe, helping to bring these critical lessons to life for students.
