The 4th transnational meeting of VR4Empathy helped the partnership align its work for the months ahead, with a strong focus on classroom uptake and the practical steps needed to bring the project’s VR resources closer to teachers, schools and students!
This meeting took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 26 and 27 November 2025, hosted by the University of Ljubljana. The meeting brought together 12 participants, including representatives of all partner organisations and the project’s external evaluator, for 2 days of coordination, planning and review.
The meeting was full of dynamic discussions aimed at pushing the project forward. Partners took stock of the progress made on the VR resources, including the final videos and lesson plans, and mapped out the next steps. A big focus was on ensuring the project’s growth and sustainability – from expanding the XR Education network and engaging key stakeholders, to ramping up social media efforts and planning upcoming events.
Key outcomes included confirming the final steps for the educational resources and setting the stage for the pilot phase in schools. Partners worked on refining how to monitor quality and collect meaningful evidence, while solidifying the foundation of the XR Education network.
Looking ahead, the next steps are clear. Piloting in schools will kick off in January 2026, while work on the sustainability strategy, the XR Education network, and upcoming networking events will continue in parallel.
