The VR4Empathy project recently hosted 3 co-design sessions across Greece, involving 40 teachers from diverse educational backgrounds. These sessions, held in Athens (2 sessions) and Corinth (1 session), provided educators with the opportunity to shape the project’s future learning materials by collaboratively designing 8 scripts.

The topics covered in these scripts were wide-ranging, including cyberbullying, sports culture, migration, and stereotypes, all reflecting pressing social issues tied to European citizenship and diversity. These scripts will form the core foundation for the development of VR-based videos, which will bring these themes to life in classrooms, fostering empathy and deeper understanding among students.

The sessions not only allowed teachers to contribute directly to the project but also ensured that the VR4Empathy materials resonate with real classroom experiences and challenges. Moving forward, the most impactful scripts will be selected to produce the VR content that will be used to engage students across Europe in meaningful discussions on social issues and global citizenship.
