The VR4Empathy project was officially introduced at the 17th annual International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation (ICERI2024), which was held in Seville, Spain, from 11 to 13 November 2024.

It consisted of a virtual presentation of a poster, highlighting the main findings from the initial research performed by the consortium at the beginning of the project, under the topic of Innovative educational technologies and the theme of Virtual & Augmented Reality. The event counted the participation of academics, researchers and educators from 80 countries, allowing the VR4Empathy project to the spotlight of the innovation regarding the use of VR-based resources in educational settings, maximising the potential of exploitation of the project.

An abstract in English on the main findings from the research was prepared by the INOVA+ team, based on the Report on the power of VR to stimulate students’ empathy skills and motivation to learn developed by the consortium and it can be seen here.

Furthermore, the presentation will be available at the proceedings of the conference in a digital format.
